Often field engineers were using phone cards to make access back to the companies network. Unfortunately the company found this method was slow and unreliable making transferring critical data virtual impossible.

With in weeks, new dialers were distributed to employees in the field. Users were now able to connect at faster rates, more reliability and for less per minute, resulting in lower costs and more productivity.

The Problem:

A Wall Street investment firm focused on managing the portfolios of wealthy clients has a staff of money managers that travel both domestically and internationally to meet with clients and investigate investment opportunities. The company was allowing its personnel to find their own ISPs in each company that travel and expensing the costs. After a while the monthly costs of 100s of local dialup accounts was costing were rapidly growing. Additionally the number of dialers and access providers meant a support and security nightmare since dialers were not standardized across different laptops.

The Solution:

Individual users canceled their local ISP accounts and installed our dialer that was integrated with the companies VPN system. Users now only paid for actual usage when the traveled and were automatically connected via VPN into the corporate network securely. Additionally IT staff only had to answer questions on one software package and had one contact for network issues.

One of Americas most famous food brands maintains a large sales force. The companies IT staff was having difficulty managing user accounts and the accounting staff was having difficulty determining which field offices incurred which expenses.

The company set up a corporate account and set up multiple groups of users. Group managers in regional offices and departments were setup, allowing group managers to add and manage accounts. Monthly statements showed usage broken down by each group making accounting a breeze.

NATO is a military alliance that stretches the globe. Internet access is critical for officers and enlisted men and women from multiple alliance members. We received a call from communications headquarters needing access immediately for several top officers traveling who were unhappy with their current access provided by their local base.

The Solution:

We provided access in minutes to the officers while they were on the road. The software was so simple and easy to use, the users were up and running. The dialer is now standard issue for many NATO laptops.
