There are 2 basic things that you need to determine before you purchase a voltage converter: Voltage and Wattage. You can find this information on any electronic device either on the device or on the power cord that fits that particular device.

The Voltage is listed either as a specific voltage indicated like: "AC-110 V" , or a range like: "AC-110 V - 240 V." Knowing the Voltage range of the device compared to your destination, will let you know if you need a converter. You can check your destination's Voltage on the What You Need Page

Once you have determined if and what type of converter you need, you will need to determine the Wattage. The Wattage is listed with a "W" in this format: "50W". This will determine which specific converter you need. You will need to purchase a converter that can handle your Maximum Watts.
