Telephone Adapters

At the beginning of the 20th Century, countries across the globe scrambled to develop domestic telephone systems. In an effort to protect their domestic networks for outside competition, the markets developed proprietary standards. While almost every phone system around the globe operates in a similar fashion, the small tiny phone jack's shape can often be the only difference that prevents one phone from using another outlet.

Fortunately Tempest Telecom provides a wide range of telephone plug adapters which will allow you to connect your telephone or modem to almost any phone jack on the planet. Our telephone adapters allow connections of your RJ-11 phone plug (US/Canada Type) into a foreign telephone jack. Each adapter features a "duplex design" which acts as a line splitter, letting you keep the existing foreign phone plugged into the wall even as your modem shares the outlet.
