And it has the 2 Pin Continental European plug to insert into the socket. If you need to change the voltage of another plug shape, you can use a power plug adapter in conjunction with this device.

Appliances built for use in North America are designed to operate on 110/220 volt electricity. Electrical systems outside North America generaly operate on
220/240 volts. To use 110/220 volt appliances abroad, a converter is necessary to step-down the voltage to 110/120 volts.
Do not use Model V16 with: Electronically controlled Coffee Makers, Irons, Electric Blankets, etc. that use digital timing/temperature circuits or have Auto Start or Auto Shut-off features.
